Prof. George Kyeyune is the Director of the Institute of Heritage, Conservation and Restoration and an Associate prof. of Contemporary Art in Uganda and an artist. He specializes in sculpture and history of African art with research interest in contemporary and modern art. Among other notable artworks, he is the author of the monument commemorating Makerere 100 years in 2022.
