Prof Dominicus is a visual artist, researcher, and lecturer of African art history at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania's College of Humanities' Department of Creative Arts. His research focuses on art history and visual communication. He also teaches fine arts, sculpting, painting, and drawing. He is also a curator for the CHAWASAWATA (the Makonde Arts and Crafts Association/Gallery in Dar es Salaam), an art educator for the National Arts Council of Tanzania.
